Server Type Network:
This Server/Client diagram shows that businesses connect to the internet via modem through their ISP. In the internal network there is generally a router or firewall behind the modem, depending on the type of modem (IE. Gateway). Generally behind a firewall/router you have your core network, which would then connect to a switch or router. The switches then in turn connect to other networking devices such as wireless access points and switches. From the networking layer servers, PCs and printers are attached. The servers will provide services to the PCs such as file sharing, e-mail, program requests, etc.
